Now then..on this page you won't find shippy stories...nooooooo,nooooo,noooo none of that kissy kissy stuff here..there are plenty of wonderful websites with truck loads of that sort of thing..nope here you will find funny stories..well you will do when I can find folk to send them in..And that is where *YOU* come in..(yes I'm talking to you out there on the other side of this screen...yes I can see you with your mug of coffee and custard creams.. and you thought you were here to just read!) I would love it if some of you could send in some daft or funny stuff..stories,filk..send me anything..(well within reason..I mean I couldn't put chocolate up here..not that I'm suggesting you send me chocolate you understand....not that it would get that far..one of my mottos is-the chocolate doesn't make it out of here alive! Ellie's competition fic(PG) Okay the story goes something like this..(no..no..not Ellie's fic..the story of how the whole competition arose..<g>).I had this Ben Browder Calendar to give away..created by this genius and very talented Scaper called 13thnight who generously gave them away..and I decided that I would give someone on the board a chance to have it..but they would have to earn it...and so the compo was born...and the rules were as follows.. the competition...I have caved into James request that we not
have a graphicy compo..(don't say I never do anything for you
James!<vbg>) so I have decided on plan B..(oh no..LGM..flashbacks.ahem..where
was I..oh yeah) And so it began..(hmm where have I heard *that* before?<g>)..anyway this was the fic that won...called..."Chocolate solves everything"

Okay..well where do I start??Okay once upon a time there was this cute little board called the Dominion(the scifi.com official Farscape billboard)..and in December it was decided that a billboard party would be held for Ben Browder..this thread became known throughout the land as Ben's Birthday BBQ...and it was upon this fair thread that a small band of faithful and true(read tenacious and barking mad!)Scapers formed the Pleisar Party Regiment..with the sole purpose in life to prolong billboard cast parties well beyond their sell buy date(infact our first oath was to get Ben's party past 5000 posts..and we did it!Despite Ben evicting us personally..)Anyway..out of this madness of 5000 posts many ideas and theories were born into the world...universal truths were uncovered and lead was turned into gold..(okay the last bit didn't happen..but you get my drift!)Out of this sock and coaster theory was evolved..and this fic is kind of inspired by our new found knowledge...heheh...Anyway somehow..I won an award for this umm..er..story..Okay..disengage your brain now.. |
